Dont do it
Is it just me, or does anyone else feel the need to hop over and see how bad it really is and look over the edge?
Todays blip taken at Latchford locks was hoping to catch a ship passing through but none to be seen up or down the canal must get better at reading the ship radar web page.
Latchford locks is one of four sea going vessel intermediate locks on the Manchester Ship canal, the lock comprise of a larger lock for ocean-going vessels and a smaller lock on the south side for coasters, tugs and barges. A ship mooring area was provided on the canal's south bank and enabled two large vessels to pass each other at this point. We are looking towards the south bank mooring point.
Well better luck next time with catching a ship passing there is plenty of time yet
