Comic book for mom

Evan is making a comic book for his mom, who is currently in the Emergency Room after falling on the stairs this morning. Fortunately his dad was at home when it happened, and he took her to the ER. We’re waiting to hear what the doctors say. She has been there for hours. So far they’ve said it’s a dislocated shoulder, but there’s more. He left her waiting for a verdict and collected Evan from school and brought him to my place for Baba Time.

“A comic will be a good distraction for her,” Evan reasons, "so she doesn’t think about the pain.” It’s a comic about Super Sausage, “a sausage defying his purpose. He doesn’t want to be grilled and eaten, so his super-power is jumping and running to get away from the knives and the grill, and he can also leave jalapeno seeds behind him to discourage anyone from following.” 

No corny bouquets of flowers for this guy.

Update: No broken bones. Dislocated shoulder. Sling for 4-6 weeks. And all manner of thing shall be well.
