What a very long day it's been, and still is as it's only 4.14pm. I got up at 1am and drove to the airport, tried the barriers at the staff car park at Jetparks, before reading the sign and finding the proper entrance! The flight was fine apart from sitting next to a very overweight man who kept falling asleep and snoring loudly. Think he ought to go to the doctor's about how often he falls asleep...

On arrival we were allocated our rooms, then we went down for a beer, picking up a Welshman on the way, also part of the group. Judging by the WhatsApp group membership there are 17 on this trip. We are in Sant Elm, Mallorca, for the weekend, starting the GR221, before we move centres to Esporles after 4 nights.

The weather isn't great, cloudy with a chilly wind and the odd spot of rain.
