Love ‘em or hate ‘em

Brown headed cow birds are just doing what they were created to do. ( back blip) Years ago, these little birds followed the buffalo across the plains. Always on the move, they don’t build nests. Rather, they lay their eggs in an unsuspecting bird’s nest and leave the “foster” parents to raise their young. Many consider this parasitic behavior and deplore these little guys.
I don’t waste time disliking them for doing the only thing they know to do. It’s not a “ chosen “ behavior. It’s nature. They weren’t created to have choices. We human’s can’t usually use that as an excuse. We know right from wrong and we have choices.
Molly rather likes them as they eat the bugs around her legs!
