and so it continues...

Yesterdays event continued - i flipped the painting onto a vertical orientation and liked it better.....i think i'm done with this one!

Spent sometime this morning doing an exercise Cheryl recommended....sitting quietly with a painting, describing what you see...without judgment good or bad....just describe what is before me.  Then you do a more in depth analysis of the painting....is it flowing in a way that guides the viewer around the whole painting!   It was a very illuminating exercise.....and it definitely was a bit more challenging than i expected!   I kinda talked out loud to the painting....luckily i work alone....and found it challenging to not say things like....a beautiful yellow, or a rather muddy area etc., kept it very subjective.
