Bogbean and a Newt!

We spent some time at the new house today just clearing some weeds from the paths and getting to grips with the explosion of dandelions. I don't mind them at all but they were taking over in parts of he garden.

I got a little side-tracked when I was looking for the goldfish in the pond and I realised the flowering plants were Bogbean. And even more so when I spotted a Newt! By the time I'd got my camera it had disappeared. Next time...
