Rosa Damascena

This rose is on a huge bush near the cafe in the park and most of them have already faded. I was quite disappointed that I have missed them as the perfume is amazing. I think it is a Damask Rose species. I hope it keeps blossoming.
It was a beautiful warm day and I met my daughter for lunch for the first time in a few days as she has been quite poorly. She thought it was covid but she kept testing negative. She was very tired by the time she got to the park. There is a new variant out called FLiRT and part of the Omicron covid family.
