Life through the lens...

Only £1 each!

Woke to another beautiful morning.
After breakfast I had a walk round some of the footpaths we know so well. Things don’t change much down here. The tall Cornish hedgerows still full of wild flowers. The only sound was the birds singing.
Spotted a sign ‘ Eggs for sale’  so went to investigate and found this.
Enormous goose eggs!  Didn’t buy any, but they would have made great egg custard tarts.

Then to the Coach and Horses for Sunday lunch.
Very friendly welcome and excellent Sunday lunch as always.

Then on to Porthleven for a wander round and walk along the coast path.
We were surprised how quiet it was.
The sea thrift was looking beautiful, although not quite as good as last year as it wasn’t fully out.
We felt a few drops of rain as we walked back to the car, however it didn’t come to anything.

Now back having a rest before my cousin and his wife arrive later.
Funny how we meet up in Cornwall but haven’t seen each other since last year, although they live in Yorkshire.

Not sure about tomorrow’s weather!

Putting a few extras up.
