Day 4: After the rain

It rained for most of the day but neither of us had much get-up-and-go so maybe it came at the right time.

Went for a drive to Minehead at lunchtime but we hit a traffic jam before we were anywhere near so we turned off and went to Blue Anchor Bay instead. Had a coffee at the Driftwood Cafe and then went back to the house and made the Sunday lunch we'd planned for yesterday but didn't feel hungry enough to appreciate. It went down a treat today!

Did some more sewing, working on a lovely sunset sky at the moment which I'm enjoying, lots of lovely colours.

The rain stopped briefly early evening and spotted today's blip on the wall outside when I popped into the courtyard for some air, he was a little beauty. I think snails are amazing... then again, I'm not a gardener!

Added a Martin Parr-esque extra, taken through the cafe window, that seemed to sum up the weather ;-)
