Except sadly this was for an equaliser, not a winner, and after the 1-2 reverse in the first leg in Dumbarton, it was just too late to make a difference and moments later the final whistle meant it finished 2-2 on the night but 3-4 on aggregate to Dumbarton. Another season in League 2 for Spartans. Which is not necessarily a bad thing, having only entered the league this season. Big crowd - for Spartans - over two thousand, with lots from Dumbarton.
