Teasel

What a beautiful day it has been.

We got most of the chores out of the way this morning and took Reggie for a walk mid afternoon calling in at 3 of the open gardens in the village en route. As it was so hot we chose to go along Goit Stock towards the waterfall as it is fairly shady there and there is Harden Beck for Reggie to paddle in. We have never got him to go more than ankle deep in any water before but today we had him chasing sticks into the water , and suddenly he realised he was swimming! I think he liked it as he kept going back in, and it certainly helped cool him off.

I was intending going out to blip another ghost sign, but the large glass of vin rouge I had with our meal has put paid to that so it is another garden blip. I do love the architectural nature of the teasels and I love the way the camera shows thing I hadn't noticed with the naked eye.... I hadn't spotted the spider web.

Hoping for a more exciting blip tomorrow as I am off on a 30 min helicopter flight , all part of my birthday present ( from back in January!)
