Why I hate...

...wood pigeons!
A trip to the allotment revealed the depredations on our broccoli plants caused by the wood pigeons (Fattus bastardus). I have now set up strings over the plants with old DVDs (magazine cover discs) dangling from it. We will see how they react to that... A recent report says wood pigeon numbers have increased 130% recently; I can believe it!

Very sad to hear about the death of the lovely blipper Chaiselongue (D'aicí enfòra) She will be greatly missed in the community. RIP.
