Wood...

... is the topic for today's HeartFreek's July Challenge and, as luck would have it, I had only my second ever golf lesson today as part of my new member's induction at the golf club. The golf pro got me to try out this space age looking 1 wood and lent it to me to practise with it during tomorrow's round.

Obviously the term "wood" is an anachronism now as they are made out of more modern materials these days, but it's still called a wood, so I reckon it counts!

I was given all sorts of interesting advice today; whether I can put them all into practice tomorrow remains to be seen.
