Jasmine Flower (by the pond)
Told you I'd been spending a lot of time in the garden. My gardening skills extend to brutally hacking back unwanted (and occasionally wanted) plants and clearing a space ready for the new set of weeds to grow. Last year I hacked away the ivy (my arch-nemesis) from around the shed and found a bedraggled looking Jasmine beneath the thriving spidery mass. This evening Anna noticed that it had suddenly flowered overnight. And not just flowered - it's absolutely covered in delicate white petals with a beautiful scent that fills the bottom of the garden.
Am not normally a fan of flower photos but am enjoying using the Canon EOS so much that took a hundred of these and at least this one is half decent ;)
