View South from Krasnogruda quay

After dinner, I went with the Ts to 'Time and Light', a physics talk given at Pogranicze. These science lectures have been taking place every summer for a few years now and we are lucky to have such an enthusiastic bunch of experts willing to tell us something about their subjects. Afterwards we had a quick look round that part of Sejny and went to Krasnogruda, also part of the Pogranicze organisation, otherwise known as the International Dialogue Centre. It was already a little late, so we had a quick clandestine look round and went down to the wooden quay where we absorbed the peaceful atmosphere. It is really quite a marvellous place.

We returned home via the 1st WW German/Russian war cemetery in Berzniki as the Ts are interested in the history of the region.
