Queen Victoria Agave
Sculptural and abstract all by itself, I decided not to do a thing to this shot other than crop out the weeds growing at its base.
This day has been spent catching up on all kinds of things. John and I both have tried without much success to track down medical reports that we have never received.
John's report is, in fact, in the hands of the doctor we went to visit last week, and probably was last week as well. Whether the doctor will let us know what it says before John's next appointment in 6 months is another question....
My report on a radiologist's opinion on an x-ray of my suspect tooth seems to be a lost cause. I assume if there is an infection in my gums I might have heard something, but every time I call, I'm told that there is no report, the receptionist will talk to the doctor and call back. The first time she did call back. Today after a month she didn't even call back. I'm giving up.
Laundry was done, a new bone was purchased, but John got the wrong kind and I worked for awhile on the heart quilt, and wandered around the garden looking for a blip. If there is one thing our garden abounds in, it's abstract looking plants. Most of them, not surprisingly, are agaves. What is surprising is that I barely knew what an agave was before we moved here. And I'm still surprised how many of our cactus/succulent like plants turn out to be some variety of agave.
Unfortunately, we just got a text from Marc that Teri has tested positive for COVID. I'm having second thoughts about that sundae with four spoons we shared on Tuesday night....
