travel fatigue

After what can only be described as a hurricane couple of weeks/months it is time for our holidays and what better way than getting stressed with bags and the like. Thankfully Madame had started about four months ago and all the bags were done and dusted the other day.

Our flight to the sister in law's in Milan was in two parts, part one to Amsterdam, part two onwards to Italia. Our arrival was pretty late on at which point we had to pick up a car which was not actually reserved until tomorrow, oops slight mix up with the car/appartment reservation and then try to find our way to Milano north central. I've never driven in Italy and doing so at 11.30pm is probably as good a time as any.

We got there in 20 minutes which isn't bad. Everyone except sister in law asleep.
