EYE Museum Amsterdam/Catching Up#8

Today we went sailing from Muiden to Amsterdam with the clipper Hoge Wier.
We sailed from the Markermeer and went through the locks to the river IJ, that runs through Amsterdam. The IJ is a very busy river, with a lot of cargoships, tour-, sailing-, motorboats and ferries. We were the only ship sailing there, so that was spectacular!

The white building is the museum of the history of the movies, called EYE. Currently there is an exhibition about Fellini.
The large building is the former head office of SHELL, called the Tower Overhoeks.
