In the Distance...

is Beachy Head Lighthouse, and my entry for HeartFreek's July Challenge today.

I walked over the cliffs from Birling Gap, past Belle Tout Lighthouse, which some may remember was winched back from the crumbling cliff edge 10 years or so ago. Today it had a much needed ice-cream kiosk in what was problably the remains of the cellars. About 1/2 mike further on I stopped for this view before returning to the car park at Birling Gap, and home to Mum waiting patiently for her dinner!
