Sniff! sniff!

My mother-in-law's dog lives in a world of smell. Dogs don't have the same high resolution colour vision we have and like most dogs he is good with movement, in low light. When we take him for a walk, he does a lot of sniffing - here he is sniffing for something in the grass. I've not aware that he has ever caught anything like this, but he does enjoy a good sniff and then a little frantic dig...
