Viking Market
The boys and I had a wonderful day... we went to see the Viking Market at the old Viking Fortress Trelleborg in Slagelse. It was great. There was so much to look at and it was all very interesting.
We saw a baby owl, a slave market, a big fierce battle and lots of craftsmen at work.
We also went for a walk between what is left of the old fortress. There are grazing horses and sheep in the fields and one of the horses came to say hallo and nearly bit Hero in the bum! Hero was being very polite, but I guess it didn't like him anyway.
I bought an ice cream for each of the boys as it was very warm! And we had some lovely viking lunch too.
We left the viking market at 2ish and went back to Sorø, where we went for a walk in the Academy Garden and the boys had a swim.
Biscuit is looking a million times better after having seen the chiropractor yesterday. It is wonderful to see him move more freely.
You can see more pictures from our day at Trelleborg here.
Happy weekend, Blippers.
