Pentland Hill Challenge day 6
I decided that I needed to get out on the hills in potentially bad weather tonight since my last four evenings in the Pentlands have been very pleasant. So the forecast of heavy rain showers was actually welcome!
Although the sky was doing some impressive stuff, all the showers seemed to bypass me to the south and north.
I was alone with the clegs, skylarks, meadow pipits and buzzards as I romped across the heather.
The picture shows the enormous Bronze Age cairn of East Cairn Hill, the long distance view of which I've featured in previous blips.
