But, then again . . . . .

Tête à Tête.

A.k.a. Badock's Wood Again.
I had vowed that if I ever had the need to back blip, I would make some notes on the day as an aide-mémoire. Although it would be possible without a functional computer, it is certainly a little more tedious, and so I find myself desperately trying to remember what happened so long ago. This was the day after the Wimbledon men's final when the residents at The Lodge congregated in the cafe to watch the match on a big screen; many of them had no idea what was happening and many of those that did couldn't see the ball due to failing eyesight and the primitive set-up. The Old Lady quickly retired to her room and made the best of watching the television in her room aided by the audio commentary provided by those family members with younger eyes.

Back to the day in question, Mrs TD and myself obviously took Merlin for a walk and stumbled across this brief meeting. Only the lurcher seemed aware of our presence and the composition was satisfyingly obvious and needed virtually no manipulation to turn it into a presentable image.
