Fangorn’s Alley

At SeniorNet last week, The Boss was showing a movie about Lord of the Ring sites and how they are now rebuilding some of the original sites which were required to be taken down at the time of the first filming.
Of course back then no one realised what an amazing tourist attraction they could have been but I am happy to bark that this oversight is now being corrected big time. Late that afternoon we went walking and the Boss encountered this and was reminded of the talking old trees in that movie so we returned today to get the shot. While The Boss was doing this The Bossess took me across the road and up a hill and The Boss joined (slightly warm) later. It was 14 C and an amazing late winter day.
A very pleasant day I thought except that the third tree on the left seemed to be muttering about something. Maybe I shouldn’t have…….
