Day 29: Small World

Dear Diary,
At around 1pm, after a fairly miserable morning, I packed my beach bag, and headed off to my favourite place.  Fevzi Pasa beach is a fifteen minute walk away and is my favourite of all the beaches around here. In fact, it was a major factor when deciding to buy the flat in August 2011. I stayed until gone 7pm reading, snoozing and swimming, managing to consume two beers and a plate of chips !!! Weirdest moment had to be when climbing out of the sea up the short iron ladder, I was suddenly called out of my private reverie by the sound of someone calling my name!  Looking up, it was, to my utter astonishment, one of my students who was, I think, just as surprised as me!
