Southport sunset

Yay!! The weekend finally arrived after a frustrating day at work!

We had a weekend in Southport and Liverpool planned - although I have lived in Yorkshire since I was 3 (too many years to mention) I still feel at home over there and have many happy memories of holidays spent with my Nan, so I am always pleased to be back.

We had a decent journey, checked in and then I rushed out with my camera to catch the sunset. The pier was only actually open at the top end so we ended up on the beach where I spotted a few other cameras!

Once I had got my shot we headed back towards town to find some fish and chips which we ate in the dusk, then back to the hotel for some much needed sleep.
