Unlikely Al Fresco.

There are many pastimes that can be reasonably practiced al fresco - but I would never have rated table tennis as one of them. This steel table, with its steel net, is situated adjacent to the swings on Horfield Common that have been mentioned in this journal on a previous occasion and is in regular use.

This is not what you would call a rough area, the worst crime that seems to be regularly committed is the scorching of the grass with disposable barbecues; never-the-less, the table is securely fixed to its foundations such that it would take a powerful piece of earth moving equipment to remove it.
