Owls and more

We went to a Cumbria Wildlife Trust meeting this evening in Penrith. A brilliant talk about Owls in Cumbria - some of it very worrying, the loss of habitat for Barn Owls, the number of owls being poisoned. But there were some positives - a scheme to encourage farmers to put up boxes for owls and to use them as natural predators etc.

And just look who we met up with - Clickychick https://www.blipfoto.com/entry/3356764181700283601 and Jerra https://www.blipfoto.com/entry/3356731874524270011

We had a lovely moonlit evening in which to drive home. We saw a deer running along the road and there was a beautiful sunset - see Extra. In fact the sunset was going to be my blip and then I realised I had taken a charming photo of those two lovely people and it had been so nice to meet up with them, that I had to use it. I don’t think they will mind.

(Next time it will be at Larch Cottage!)
