Ruins

After work a quick walk round the local area to take a couple of shots of why the area is called Monks abbey. These ruins are from an old abbey dating back to the 13th century , they are all fenced off now and have had some modern day capping off to protect them from falling apart . As a kid I did use to climb about on them and on one or more occasions found myself on the top of the big tall one in the background
