Love

Some street art in town.

I went to another book festival event tonight. Part of the Amnesty International events. Tonight's was all about journalists who are killed or imprisoned for doing their job.

One of the readings was really powerful.

A Love Letter from Emilie Blachere to Remi Ochlik

I want to share it for two reasons. One, if you are lucky enough to experience love, you can only despair at what has happened to the person writing this. Two, it's all about a photographer, killed because he took photos in hostile places. This feels like the place where others will appreciate the works of a great photojournalist who died doing his job.
