Introspective

Today I was, once again, shattered. Miles had a disrupted night, and therefore so did I. The world continues to turn, however, and we got up and went to a meeting about Commonground that took us until lunch.

Things are coming together nicely for the planning for its future, so we're feeling optimistic about it all.

Around Miles time, shopping and a bit of work, we had Faye and Lewis over for dinner. We're a little low on the cash flow front after our trip to the UK, but Gina somehow managed to rustle up an amazing meal with about 2 million components with mainly ingredients that we already had in the house. She's got a talent that girl.

Today's shot is, obviously, my eye. As is often the case after big trips and life events, I'm trying to have a think about who I am, where I fit into the Big Picture and what my future may hold. It can be fun, but also difficult at times. All in all, I just want to be the best that I can for myself and my family.

That may be all I strive for in life.
