Conversations with Beaker...

Following on from Conversations with Colin...

Today is my friend Beaker's birthday! He has existed for 30 years already, and to celebrate we went for lunch today.

Beaker is a pretty fussy eater, so I felt a little bit under pressure when he suggested that I surprise him with my choice of restaurant - the risk of birthday disaster was high! In the end I decided to try my luck at a pretty modern Italian restaurant I've been meaning to visit for a while, knowing well that there was an equally nice, but safer, more Beaker-friendly option a few doors away. Of course he chose the safer option! :)

I decided to get a portrait of him after lunch to mark the occasion, but I got so many that I liked in such a short space of time that I decided to go for another montage. It's probably best viewed by pressing L for large.
