Entertaining take two!

Lots of fun was had with our Yorkshire friends last night. We ate, drank and were merry until the small hours, and even managed an entire evening al fresco! Perfect!

This morning we ate bacon sandwiches, drank tea and immersed ourselves in the newspapers whilst the children played (bliss!). They left just before lunch and then the preparations for the next round of entertaining began!

We had H's friend Izzy from school round, along with her mum and dad. Her mum and I have become good friends since we met last September, which was an unexpected bonus of H starting school!

H & Izzy played in the sunshine, paddled in the pool, bounced on the trampoline, put on a show with H's guitar and just generally had a ball! We all had tea in the garden and us grown ups managed a glass of wine (or three!).

All in all it's been a really lovely (and hectic) bank holiday weekend :-)
