Meeting of the Dragons!

The Cape Breastoners Dragon boat team invited the MammoWarriors to have a fun day together on their stomping ground, The Mira River! They were amazing and provided us with the most outrageous amount of food for lunch and then the plan was to have a race with both teams. But, for the first hour or so the wind was just whipping around and we kept waiting....finally around 1pm a small group of us ventured out onto the very choppy waters! It was just too choppy to have the race but we had a very exhilarating row - waves crashing over us, soaking us and rocking the boat quite a bit! We were soaked but boy did we feel like real Warriors!

Brilliant day for sure!
