Orange
Horomaka's colour challenge today is orange and Gingernan and I seemed to find orange things everywhere in our travels!
I particularly liked this building across the road and took the pic on my way to get some lunch. A woman was watching me through the window of the shop in front of me shaking her head and frowning as if to say what a nutter...sheesh they just don't understand the power and excitement of blip!! ;)
When I later looked through all my orange images my pareidolia kicked in when I saw this one! :0)
From Wikipedia:
Pareidolia (/pærɨˈdoʊliə/ parr-i-doh-lee-ə) is a psychological phenomenon involving a vague and random stimulus (often an image or sound) being perceived as significant, a form of apophenia. Common examples include seeing images of animals or faces in clouds, the man in the moon or the Moon rabbit, and hearing hidden messages on records when played in reverse.
In other news dear Jake has had a bad day, he was in a lot of pain and quite unhappy. The drop in the dose of the cortisone has had a strong effect. I spoke to the vet yet again and she said to put the dose back up until Friday in the hope that a few more days might be enough to settle the inflammation down. It's an awful time for Jake and for us watching him go through it and I really don't know what to think. Our fingers are crossed and its hard to keep the sadness at bay!
