Home Early :-(

Hello my wonderful blip friends.
We got home at 12:30 am last night (Wednesday 18th)
Holiday wasn't a complete disaster but a lot went wrong all things considered!

So where do I start........
We were late leaving on Friday 13th!!! Left home at 2pm instead of our planned 11:30 am.
The roads were remarkably quiet for a Friday and we had a good journey there apart from taking the wrong turn in Somerset once. However the rain was throwing it down so a damp unpack we thought.

When we arrived I got the key to the Cottage and G opened up the back of the Mitsi to unload our boy Diesel.
When he said "Oh what's gone on in here" I thought ....Ok the bags have rolled about or something's fell over.....I was wrong.
When I looked in ....Poor Diesel had been very ill in the back and I don't mean sick!

Ever noticed the consistency of peanut butter???

You get my drift...yes?

I may just have to add that not once in his travelling life has Diesel been ill in the back of our vehicle or anywhere in the car. We usually go on 9 hour journeys to Scotland and when he was 8 weeks old he sat in the foot well of the car and was fine.
I digressed. So chucking it down with rain and no proper cleaning cloths we had to do an emergency job of cleaning up the back of the Mitsi. However we put a brand spanking new dog bed in for the way down and that was a skip job. It was covered in ****.
Because we have a very deeply ribbed load liner we have carpet covered MDF in back for Deezy to be able to stand on....That too was covered in ****. It had to be washed as best we could or else he wouldn't be able to stand in the back for days out!

Enough of this, so to cut a long story short we got the bags in etc and G went back out to get cleaning supplies. I went to use my mobile and found that not only was there no WIFI which I knew about there was also no mobile service...And I don't mean a weak signal I mean No Effing service ...Nada Nowt ...We might as well have been in the Gobi desert!
By this this time I was quite prepared to put the bags back in the car and come home!

But G was out looking for a shop in the land of nothing and of course I couldn't contact him at all.

I'm going to be back blipping so Ill write more in each days back blip. Or ill have you all falling asleep reading this lot!
Although it was a waste of a few days I'm so glad to be able to have communication and be back on my beloved Blip ;-)

Ill write more on other blips but for now IM BACK!!
