More Rain....Chase The Train

Weather was dreadful. Low mist and cloud with heavy rain all day.
Went to Porlock which is very pretty but the weather made it miserable. Intending to go back if the weather brightened we moved on to Watchet Harbour. Took Diesel out but he made so much noise we had to take him back to the car!
There was a sweet little lighthouse but the pictures I took couldn't do it justice as it was such a grey day.
I thought I heard a Steam Engine whistle? Nah it couldn't be.....It sure was and just leaving Watchet station...Dam I missed it. Oh well more bad timing.
When we got back to the car we heard another whistle....Would you believe it, it was a different Steam Engine.......How the hell could I miss both???

G was determined to chase one so I could photograph it and we went racing around the roads to Dunster Station. It was small and looked deserted but we went on the station anyway. Took a few shots and then G spotted it coming down the line!
I had the D800 so I asked G to use the D5200 to get some more shots. Yes we got it!
At last something went right! ;-)

After a day of moochin about we found a hotel called "The Rest and be Thankful Inn" and when they said they could fit us in we were thankful!
