Luvin' Life

What a fantastic day it was/is again. The sun has shone from very early morning and the town has been flooded with visitors. Lots of folk spent time on the lake including some of our guests who brought their kayak with them. We took the launch over to Nichol End Marine and grabbed a few coffees, a big pizza and watched as everyone messed about in boats of all shapes and sizes. This young lad caught my eye as he seemed to relish the whole outdoor/boating lifestyle and seemed to have a job doing what he was born to do. Jealous? Me? You bet! He was skippering a yacht for a family, taking them around the lake. At one point a small boat with some teenage lads came alongside and passed him a plastic shopping bag. He put his hand inside and pulled out some bottles of beer and passed them round. What a life!
