Unique

Sometimes little things happen that make me so happy and renew my faith in the innate kindness of people.

Yesterday after returning from a lovely blipmeet in Joppa, I found an envelope waiting for me behind the door. It was addressed to Lady Findhorn, The Dower House, but also with the correct road name etc.
I was intrigued. When I opened it I found this beautiful stitch and row marker, made and sent by TractorFactoryPhotos, a fellow blipper and friend of son #2 the long lost blipper D77

TFP knew I knitted a lot and thought I could use his new invention, and so I can. It is beautiful and unusual and has my name on it, LadyF.
Should I need somewhere safe to keep it when not in use as I'm knitting , I can wear it as an earring and know exactly where it is.

Thank you TFP for such a lovely surprise.

With His Lordship off on his new autumn session of hill walking, I am left to my own devices and can hardly contain myself as to how to fill the intervening hours.
Actually my day is already filled with socialising, catching up with friends whose company I have missed over the summer.
Oh, of course in between these meet ups, there is the small matter of a dusty house and bed linen that needs washing. A woman's work is never done.
