Beloved Building

A drizzly, grey day, spent mostly taking notes for forthcoming talk, but still captured lots of Sutton Coldfield beauty, so asked M which one he liked best - this is his choice.

Roofline of main building our church has met in since 1985 - it used to be Town Junior School, but we outgrew our old building, and sold it to McYouKnowWho. They promptly demolished a pretty building with a tower, and built their ugly multi-storey. We renovated the three old school buildings on the inside (cannot change the outside) in a very exciting time, meeting in various schools.

In 1986, we got married here, and over the years when home from Brazil, dedicated our three children here, and then this year, married our oldest daughter here.

Only a building, but as long as we are bodies, we will need buildings, and this one is rich with loving memories for me.
