The Kelpies, Helix Park, Falkirk

We went in search of The Kelpies. Towering 30 metres, guarding the entrance to the Forth and Clyde Canal, with dramatic views from the M9 Motorway.

Impressive steel sculptures by Andy Scott. Still under construction, with a Visitors Centre planned nearby. Part of the Helix Park, with a lake, dipping ponds, water features, performance space, and plenty of wide pathways.

It will be interesting to watch the progress of these giant Clydesdale Horses.
