'The Zombie's hit town'

Today was the Melbourne Zombie Shuffle in town. What a fantastic event for photographers, and there were probably a few hundred en route.

All of the Zombies met in the Fitzroy Gardens and then shuffled along down Londsdale Street, turned left into Elizabeth Street and headed through the railway underpass over to Southgate before ending up just under the Swanston Street bridge.

I met up with another blip friend MrsHouston who was there with her niece and we had a great time snapping all the walking dead. They were all pretty nice as far as Zombies go I guess.

Received a phone call from Dylan about an hour after I arrived in town telling me that he was on the way to the hospital. He'd kicked the front door in anger at home and smashed a pane of glass, cutting the heel of his foot open. MsMun rushed him firstly to our local Medical Centre where they were actually closed, but one of the doctors was still there so had a look at his foot, but Dylan was apparently screaming so much when he tried to inject the anaesthetic that the doctor said that they would be better off heading to ER where he could be sedated and patched up. I arrived at the hospital just after 4pm and he had just been fixed and was chatting to the nurse about his injury. We went and ate some lunch together in the park before heading home.

What a day!!!

Really tough choice to pick just a single image, so HERE are some more shots from the day. Plenty more to still faff around with at some stage, this is just a tiny selection.

And finally thank to everyone for the love spread all over yesterdays blip, you are all very kind and it even hit the spotlight briefly today.
