Potential

What you see here is a grungy old kitchen. What I see are the future contents of a skip (dumster) and a brand new kitchen sitting there.

Today (not my idea) we went to have a look at a small 2 bedroom house. $18,000. It's outside where we want to be but it's $18,000. And it's probably a little over priced, should be closer to $15,000.

The back story is that a little old lady lived here for years, died here, and it's been empty ever since. I'm assuming her personal possessions were collected, but an awful lot was left, including all the furniture. Very sad really.

The house was in pretty decent shape all things considered though. It just needed an awful lot of probably lead paint scrapped off the walls, and then an awful lot of modern paint on top of it. A little tlc to the bathroom, a new kitchen, and then - pull all the lino and refinish hardwood floors.

Right now we're trying to figure out how much a kidney is worth. We could rent it or flip it.
