Sunday skies #1
I was looking for sky shots specifically for the challenge set by creativelenna and I am glad I did as it has made me ponder the sky and the changes therein. Today I see a glimmer of hope. After the deluge of yesterday and the wall to wall greyness of the sky, today we see the remains of the heavy clouds thickly covering the tops of the hills, in fact following their contours. This has the effect of drawing the eye right into the centre where it is blue and bright, which I sincerely hope heralds a better forecast. The landscape below is a wonderful patchwork of green in the fields, morphing into the autumn yellows and golds of the bracken on the moorland slopes.
