A walk in the rain!

I've been lollygagg'n most of the morning, at the computer, on the phone, meditating (doesn't really count as lollygagg'n...but still not doing too much!) while it has continued to toss it down outside....sometimes quite torrential!

it always amazing me what captures my interest here on blip....for example while i was browsing i came upon someone who was preparing sweet cinnamon rolls and i got this unbelievable hankering for some! so i googled it and got a recipe....off to the kitchen...hoping for almost instant gratification...to find out i have to let the damn things rise (1 1/2 hours!!), before i can even begin the real process! oh well, they will make a delicious dessert after dinner.

Then i was inspired by Grace to head out while there was still light....so out into the rain, wandering around the garden and then a walk around the pond! No ducks unfortunately, but i felt empathy for this poor old sunflower!

it's been nice to have a proper weekend off....back to the mud room tomorrow! thankfully i have a new book to listen to! not sure i'm that impressed....i'll give it another couple of hours!
