Redevelopment

Brighton's London Road district - where I work - is one of its most run-down, in which pound stores and charity shops sit beside the permanently-congested, horrendously-polluted main road out of the city. The big Co-Op department store has been demolished to make way for a new student housing development, but the facade remains - now held up by scaffolding, like a film set.
