Tonight was mine and Colin's 8-year anniversary!

At 5am he's jetting off to Doha for the next 6-months to work on building their new metro.

When people ask me how I feel about it, I often get the sympathetic awww, with accompanying head tilt. But truth is I'm excited for him. I'm sad to say bye but he's brilliant and deserves it.

He'll be back at Christmas... And in the meantime, there's always Skype and Blip.
