Underpass Murals
If you walk through the pedestrian underpass on Newmarket Rd/Elizabeth Way, you will see some first class murals, attributed to the artist John Wilcox.Painted on the small shiny wall tiles, they depict various aspects of the city of Cambridge. This is part of a mural showing Stourbridge Fair, which in Medieval times was the largest in Europe and was the inspiration for Bunyan's Vanity Fair.
