Reading Specs

This is a different day ... even though I am at the same location as yesterday. But then again, seeing as how this IS my desk, it is true that I find myself at this location a lot. Once again (still actually) the 30mm f2.8 prime is attached to the OMD.

This lens was cheap (as lenses go) but it has proved to be one heck of a bargain. It is reasonably fast & sharp, focuses quickly, has a pleasing industrial design AND works pretty closely too. I wouldn't get carried away and call this a "macro" lens but it IS a close focus lens perhaps. A nice bonus, that I am only now discovering, is that, wide open, it can deliver a nice depth of field compromise that works pretty well for the sort of things I like to do.
