Memory Lane And The Present
When we were children, we used to play outside for hours on end. The only time we would abandon our games and frantically run home, would be to catch the next episode of some TV series we were all crazy about. One such series was Blake's 7. The thrill! The futuristic and ultra high tech gadgets! We all ended up having make-shift blasters and would find every possible reason to teleport ourselves to a new mission (wriggling and jerking our bodies in frenzy, oblivious to the bewildered looks from the uninitiated).
Teddie was usually playing Blake, I was Avon and my brother was Gan for what I remember...
Our paths parted and we all grew up. Paths part and may cross again as we know. In this case it took more than 20 years.
Today I had a meeting with Teodor and his wonderful wife Lily. He is now a PhD in Psychology and Sociology, working on his post-doctorate research at King's College London.
Something tells me we'll meet again soon.
